KMC Partner Matthew C. Moench, who serves as Mayor of Bridgewater, was recently elected to the Republican Mayors Association Advisory Board.

“It is an honor to have been elected to the RMA Advisory Board,” said Mayor Matthew Moench. “I applaud Mayor Johnson for starting this much-needed organization to provide support to mayors like myself who are committed to the conservative principles that give Americans the best chance to thrive and realize the American dream. I look forward to working with all of the other members of the RMA Advisory Board to see how we can better support our nation’s Republican mayors and grow this critical organization.”

According to its mission statement, the Republican Mayors Association

passionately supports strong and effective law enforcement and staunchly opposes efforts to defund or dismantle the police. By advocating for the election of Republican mayors who will champion limited government interference, free markets, fiscal responsibility, smart growth, and individual liberty, we are working to ensure that every city and town in America is safe, vibrant, and prosperous. Embracing the complexity and diversity of our nation’s cities and towns, the RMA is committed to sharing best practices, mentoring and supporting current and future Republican mayors, and upholding conservative principles at the municipal level.

The organization is currently led by Dallas Mayor Eric J. Johnson, who serves as Chairman and President of the organization.

The Advisory Board plays an integral role in advancing the priorities of the RMA, including identifying and organizing the ranks of Republican mayors across the country.
