Roman B. Hirniak is Of Counsel to King, Moench & Collins. His practice includes representation of clients across New Jersey and nationwide, with a focus on municipal law, civil litigation, real estate-based transactions, and consumer and commercial lending.

Before joining the firm, Roman practiced in-house for over a decade as Vice President and Senior Counsel at Santander Bank. Roman helped the bank create a legal department that advised executive leadership on complex legal matters involving consumer and commercial loan credits throughout the country.

Prior to this, Roman practiced for nearly a decade at three different New Jersey firms. He practiced in various areas including corporate reorganizations and litigation, debtor/creditor law, and foreclosure matters.

Roman previously served as Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councilman, and Planning Board Member to the Township of Randolph. He also currently serves on the Morris County School of Technology, Law, and Public Safety Advisory Council.

Roman obtained his law degree from John Marshall Law School and received his bachelor’s degree from Marquette University with a major in political science.
