Secilia Flores is an associate at King, Moench & Collins LLP’s Morris County Office. Prior to joining the Firm, Secilia was an Assistant County Counsel at the Office of the Passaic County Counsel, where she advised the County of Passaic on a variety of matters, including Election Law, Insurance Defense, the Local Public Contracts Law, the New Jersey Tort Claims Act, and the Open Public Records Act. Secilia also served as counsel to the Administration & Finance and Health & Human Services Committees.

Secilia attended Seton Hall University School of Law, where she graduated in 2021. During law school, she obtained valuate legal experience by assisting government and non-profit offices such as Catholic Charities Community Services, Archdiocese of New York; the Office of the Federal Public Defender, District of New Jersey; and the Office of the Passaic County Counsel. Secilia was also a summer associate at a boutique employment law firm, where she worked on civil litigation and employment related matters.

While in law school, Secilia was a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Team, treasurer of the Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA), and participant of the Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic. After graduating law school, she clerked for the Hon. Ernest M. Caposela, A.J.S.C., retired, in Passaic County Superior Court.

Prior to law school, Secilia graduated from Rutgers University-Newark, magna cum laude, where she majored in Criminal Justice and minored in English and Legal Studies. During senior year, Secilia studied one semester abroad at the University of Melbourne in Parkville, Victoria, Australia.
